Changed to Blockleys three weeks ago, so it is a bit early for a review, but they feel nice.
Couldnīt source them in Sweden so ordered direct. Two tyres, two inner tubes, two rim bands (not necessary, according to the wheel guy) and shipping: 298 Pounds.
Found a terrific set up near me who didnīt mind not selling the rubber and they charged me 7.70 Pounds per side to swap them. Pretty good value.
What does irk me is that the Avons were gone, totally gone, in 8000 kms. Seriously?

What does irk me is that the Avons were gone, totally gone, in 8000 kms. Seriously? The Avons are Side Car Tires. They were never meant for critical steering with a whomping V-Twin to hold up. This is one of those Morgan decisions that deserve a no-duh head slap!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I replaced the worn Avons with Blockleys about a thousand miles ago. First impression is that they squeal less on fast cornering, but that could be a factor of new tyres versus worn tyres. I do like their heavy duty inner-tubes.

In the south of France in the summer, where I have my M3W, not too concerned about wet weather grip. When it does rain, the roads are very slippery as all the diesel rises to the surface, so in any car, I am very careful. I will bring a pair of Blockleys down with me when I come down next spring. Is there any reason not to reuse the original tubes (Avon I presume) or is fitting the HD Blockleys advisable. I am sure if I just ask Julian (Mazjub) he will say "essential dear boy!"

I re-used the original tubes with no issues at all, you will need lots of talcum powder though.

The factory used Blockley inner tubes on my 2015 Avon tyres so you may well have Blockley tubes anyway. They are a very heavy duty tube. Wait and see what's in there when you get the tyre off

Last Friday I had Blockley's fitted at MWS.
The original Avons had done just over 7,000 miles so I asked them to check the tubes and rim bands and change if they thought necessary but they were OK with the originals.
Only done about 50 miles so far but first impressions are good with slightly lighter and more consistent steering.
