Hi All, New to Morgan ownership!
We have just purchased a 1957 +4 and it would benefit from a re-furb of the Moss gearbox.
Any suggestions as to who I should contact.

Thanks in anticipation,
Tony

Hi,

Try http://www.jb-engineering.co.uk/ but you may also have success with a shop that does the Jaguar MOSS Boxes.

Welcome to TalkMorgan, Tony! Try www.jb-engineering.co.uk Billy Bellinger, from St Albans area, regularly advertises in 'Miscellany' ,the Morgan Sports Car Club magazine. Among other services, they seem to specialise in gear boxes and differentials.

I'll second the suggestions above.
Why do you believe the box needs a refurb? Just curious, they aren't the quietest of boxes at the best of times...

Synchro on 2nd is a bit dodgy and it sometimes jumps out of top gear on the overrun,

I have a moss box in a 1958 car, did you get your gearbox refurb?
