Is it not one of these? This was one of a number of Darmont Morgans I saw at the Vintage Revival at Montlhery. Built in France under licence from Morgan.

You could well be right, Jay. I thought I could see a vestige of the Morgan wings on the rad, but having looked again on the scanned pic and zooming in (doesn't reproduce well as magazine shot is only postcard size) it's not convincing. 'Your' car clearly has 'Darmont' on the crankcase, but again that's not clear in the mag. I wonder how this car would do in a concours- not much polish but plenty of patina! Gerry.
