Don't know if you remember my problem but just to let everyone know how it was sorted. Sorry for the delay but been away. Anyway it turned out to be the inertia switch. I had been pressing it but it was jammed. The electrician found the fault. Just thought I would let everyone know incase it happens to someone else.

A whiff of irony there - inertia switch wouldn't move.........
Good tip though, because if one can jam, they all can.
