Hi
Today I have tested my car with good result. It run like it should and it started when I started it warm again.
Iīll also have to correct a fault that I saw about the cost of the sensor. Itīs not 1.3GBP it was 13GBP. I have to blame my fat fingers. They do not always match those small smartphone screens.

Hmm. I did a long trip today, so the engine was properly warm. Another fault appeared. Now I can start the engine after its warm but there is no idle. The engine ignites but it dies right after.
Any ideas?

I would check all the connectors to the sensor you changed. Seemed strange that this should happen after the previous problem.

On old fashioned cars with coils, when the engine started but then died, it was usually that the starting 12v feed was Ok, but the ballasted running 7-8v feed was broken.
I don't know if this practice continued with electronic systems, but it points to the feed being there when cranking but not with the key in the running position.

//Fredrik Please you up an runnign again, good result. Sorry to hear you still have problems, do you have a friendly garage nearby with computer that has Land Rover diagnostics. If so this may be the quicker and easier way to get to the source of the problem. They will be able to get all the error codes up and see what is failing. PS ECUmate is a diagnostic that you can buy that will do this, I know the chap that Designed/builds them (a TVR chap) and knowing him it will be good. ECUmate
