errr, my exhaust broke off before the damper I can asure you; to ride a M3W with straight pipes you have got to be LadyGaGa so f°<kin9 loud... I coasted down our private lane in the hope I didn't woke up the 2 babies at the neighbours my GF was standing  in front of the garage she had heard me comming from the other side of the lake she said (little exagerated) gona have it brougt to the dealer on a flatbed not interested in being deaf for 3 days (though it could make the understanding with the GF a lot easier)

Bad luck! Wasn't the 3 wheeler your only car for the summer, as you dad had stolen your BMW?
I'll be at the dealer on friday, leaving mine for the first service while we go on holiday. I'll have a look for yours, interested to see where it broke

"Snap"  Apologies I couldn't resist it  Sorry to hear that, did you have the sport / loud exhausts fitted? I've had two snap both on the left side, apparently the steel is .5mm thinner than the standard ones. The dealer has refitted the original exhausts and I'm waiting for MMC to sort out the issue with the thinner pipes. First time it happened only a few miles from home and I managed to limp the car home with a few chips to the paint work. Second time the wife and I were about 80 miles from home but this time I was prepared for it with tape for the side of the car and wire to support the broken pipe. We had to go through the Dartford tunnel on the way home, slightly noisy

there's a sport exhaust? when did this happen? daddy likey! been looking at doing a new exhaust for the trike and wanted something louder.
would love more info on the sport exhaust and how much louder it is.
would love to hear a clip of how loud the exhaust is with the muffler off. any chance you could take a small clip of it?

would love more info on the sport exhaust and how much louder it is. Seems very loud if you cut it off just behind the heat shield!

got the "normal" and it broke just behind the black pannel, like above no dammage to the bodywork, just to my ears @Vspec: I'll bring it in tomorrow, so if they can't weld it, it'll still be there on friday  I planned to take it to the Ring next week-end  bollocks

Anyone know what the small section on the exhaust is - just engine side of the Heat Shield? thanks:))
