And indeed, it was my wife after a trip in Tuscany who complained aboout doors falling to her legs and oil stains on her trousers! I hope its now solved. I don't bother the stainlees steel catches and opening and closing the doors feels completely the same as before. Alone, now you can fix the door in an approx. 90 degree angle! Ruut 1990 4/4 4 seater

I am no doubt in a small minority but I cant get excited about doorcatches
Seem to be to be a bit of non trad frippery, dont like the look, and have never had a problem holding the very light door open with one hand!

4/4 2011 + another. Holding the door open forms part of my exercise regime. Along with lifting a glass of wine, drinking a cup of coffee and putting my feet up.    Bud __________ 2003 - 4/4 Sorry folks have to disagree, the stainless door catches apart from looking good, are great at holding the door open when you are trying to get out a short door MOG and makes life easier and stops door slamming shut especially with a breeze blowing..

Has anybody got some pics of them fitted with the doors opened and closed? Those on Librands website are not the clearest. Thanks.

I haven't had my shins barked since I fitted the holders.
They are quite 'in yer face' when the doors are closed, and one of mine doesn't sit square with the door when closed, despite my best efforts. But I do like them.

It's the "in yer face" aspect of them that has put me off fitting them......so far.

To be honest they would look better coloured to match the leather.

Any ideas how to adjust them. My drivers door one hardly holds the door open after 2 yrs.

Either carefully squeeze the two sides together (remove first), or tighten the vertical nut and bolt - you can do this without removing.
