I'd propose a Lotus.... From MMC the 3 wheeler fits JCs requirement too. The Trad is, for me, an occasion rather than a sports car. I'll get my coat....

Not sure, but isn't JC too tall for an Elise?

Exactly. Life would be so dull if we all had the same opinions - IMHO... I've met James May and Richard Hammond when they did the classic sports car vs modern souped up bling ICE'd Pug at Prescott. Back then JM wasn't a Mog fan (he arrived in a 911) and took the mick out of the fit and finish of Morgans - Richard's in particular. I'm glad he's changed sides! As for JC, never met the man, but I reckon Andy's pretty much on the button there... Was that the one where an Austin Healey beat some blinged up mobile hi fi unit That was great - I was cheering for the Healey.

Indeed it was! Considering we were there all day, all that was left was a couple of minutes broadcast... Good day out though, which overran by a long way - partly due to the muppets bringing the Pug getting lost on the other side of the hill - obviously had no idea how to read a map and trusted the Satnav...

It was also quite funny when the Healey broke down coming up the hill to start the race. Breeding will always show though, and the Healey romped through.

My pal that was driving it (and had not driven the car before) stalled it - not enough revs. It's a hill climb / sprint car, so not in normal road tune (neither was the Peugeot). It didn't break down. The Pug put out more power, but was well weighed down with all the sound system, add-ons etc. Where he stalled it was in the top paddock - the road into that is quite steep.

My pal that was driving it Graham; Does this mean that you are friends with New Stig? Bud Graham IS the new Stig Consider the evidence - he knows two of the presenters: he "overheard" the banter over Hammonds Morgan and he has intimate behind the scenes knowledge of one of their features. I rest my case.

Hmm. I thought the camera was supposed to make you gain 10 lbs.
No offense Graham; I can't talk, being of the "ample" persuasion myself !
