FYI chaps, I was up at Oulton Park at the weekend and a well known insurance co had a huge banner advertising track day insurance at £99 for the DAY !
Ok, it was aimed at bike track days, which must be riskier than 4 wheels, but even so, with my 2 hill climbs and one track day so far this year all covered for free by Headley, I'm sticking with them for the next 12 months.

That's quite a few track days etc. to make up the difference!

I use Gott & Wynn for my Aero - rates seem reasonable and track days are included, although the policy excess is doubled. An incentive to keep off the grass!

As a marshal, any incentive to 'keep off the grass' or more importantly 'out of the kitty litter' is a bonus

Must've told Headley you were 12 David ! My mental age is 12 - maybe that's what did it In my experience Headley are only interested in older Morgans or 4/4's Plus 4's or older series Roadsters. When it gets to the more expensive Roadster 3.7's or Aeros their enthusiasm wanes. Gott and Wynn are far more flexible when it comes to these models.

Useful info David. Not that I shall ever have an Aero. . . or new Roadster !
Cheers
