When removing myself from drivers seat I have to slide myself up the seat thus dragging feet back over floor mat/carpet. The carpet/mat inevitably bunch's up at cross member. I am now thinking of getting a few more dome fasteners fitted down sides and maybe on end nearest peddles. Any thoughts or easier solutions?

Mine just have two press-studs close to the cross member. They are screwed to the wooden floor and the other part fitted to the mat. Works fine for me...others have used velcro.

Studs are good, go to Car Builder Solutions for Stainless Steel prese studs and source some stainless or brass screws. cheers

same on mine. I got so feed-up with the mat getting bunched-up that I took it out. This has two advantages.
1) Does not get wet when it rains.
2) Useful when showing anyone who asks that a Morgan is made of wood getcoat

I have the original style ribbed rubber floormats in mine--they do not bunch up and look nice enough.

I too like the ribbed rubber mats which my Sport was supplied with, 'tho I was aghast yesterday to see that my right heel has already worn a hole through the mat on the drivers side (after 2 years & 17 000 km).

Giles.
I replaced my original (all black)carpet floor mats, with a new set from Melvn Rutter about 7 years ago. They still look great after a further 25,000 miles.
The new mats are dark red, piped black and Barbara at Rutters sent me carpet samples, so I could get the best colour match.
Thoroughly recommended (I have no links at all with Rutters other than as a satisfied customer of their Parts Dept.)
