When I had my screen replaced - twice now - at the factory they would only fit the entire screen including the frame - said the glass itself was not available - charged over £800. Luckily Headly paid up on both occasions. So surprised Autoglass could get just the screen

The screen came with a full surround from the factory - everything except the side pillars. Too late now to go back to Autoglass, so I will have to effect a repair myself. Has anyone tried JB Weld?

Ben, if the screen came with the frame from the factory perhaps it was faulty from the start rather than Autoglass damaging it? The factory should warranty the frame.

I had a broken screen on my 2009 4/4 Sport last Autumn and via my insurance company a new screen complete with frame was fitted by Autoglass. It also required for the dashboard to be moved for th heater wiring.
The fitter came from Swindon and done a super job to my complete satisfaction.
