Hi everyone, We have just taken delivery of our new Roadster and after 155 miles the speedometer has packed up. This also means that it is not recording any more miles. I have phoned Allon Whites and they will of course have it back to look at, but just thought I would check on here first in case it is a known problem. I have checked the electrical connector on the back of the speedo and that seems fine. Any help would be appreciated, Regards Mark

Mark, I can't say that is something we've had posted on the forum as an issue. What did Allon Whites say? I assume this is a Roadster V2?

Come on now, Mark. You can't just come on here, and ask a question without at least a couple of obligatory pics

The speedo in my S1 Roadster has some erratic behaviour under hard acceleration and above a ceratin speed (which I cannot divulge)

Allon Whites say they need the car back for a few days, they have no idea what it is.
I just can't get it back to them at the moment, I'm just too busy. I will take it back after Easter.
Regards Mark

seems to be a recurring fault...hmm... (one of the TV members had exactly the same problem..dont know wether he's got it fixed yet, but his car was one of the first roadster mk.2s)

Fixed now, it turns out it was a transponder in/on the gearbox.
Any way, all ok again now.
