I'm hoping to read more feedback from any 3.7 owners who have modified their suspension with the Suplex system. I'm very tempted.
My Roadster crashes and bottoms out at the front on Surrey's appallingly maintained roads - I think the ride could be improved. I wouldn't want to substantially alter the characteristics of the car, but simply tweak it to my tastes a bit - as I've done with (my older) Astons over the years.

Neil You could perhaps look at different spring rates and/ or shock absorbers (Rutherford, AVO, Koni) to achieve this without altering the traditional geometry of the suspension.

Quicksilver --- How does the Suplex modification alter the Traditional Geometry of the suspension?? I thought it was merely replacement springs and dampers without altering the geometry at all.

Agree with all that Mike. In fact Suplex fitting instructions recommend leaving the camber the same. The progressive springs give the suspension a chance to load up over bumps. This cuts down the crashing due to the standard springs binding up. It is all pretty standard set up and even the front and rear shock absorbers on my +4 are now the same supplier ie Bilstein. Morgan originally were Sachs front Bilstein rear.
Crashing over road bumps was never my favourite pastime.

Mike, I've been holding off making any comments about Suplex fitted to my 4/4 as I also had new kingpins and bushes fitted at the same time. At first the ride was no better, very stiff and stiff steering although my shimmy had gone and the front end felt a lot more stable at speed on the motorway....none of that nodding.
Clearly the kingpins and bearings needed bedding in and were masking the benefits of the new springs and now 500 miles or so down the line things are starting to bed in and I'm noticing improvements. So....if anyone decides to have the Suplex kit fitted when their kingpins need replacing, do bear in mind that you may initially feel a tad disappointed!

. Neil, I would go for it. It has really improved my roadster and, unless I've missed something, everyone on this forum who's actually fitted a system has posted positively. I was out for a blast over some familiar North Yorkshire roads yesterday evening (3.7 Roadster)  Coming through fast bumpy corners the car doesn't get skittish and thrown off-line as before and hence it feels much safer. The car still crashes, vibrates and rattles like no other but the ride is much improved - it's more supple - it's not soft. The car is more satisfying to drive , the character is enhanced and the performance is more accessible. Thanks Mike - that's very interesting.... I'm also considering the solid chrome (?) king pins which I'm told require much less attention (less greasing and a longer life). Have you made any other changes? Panhard Rod etc?

David, do you have an issue with Suplex ? You appear to be trying your utmost to discourage anyone from fitting it  In fact their system is exactly what you are proposing to Neil, a different set of springs and dampers. It doesn't alter the geometry or the fundamental suspension design in any way. Perhaps you are confusing it with the wishbone suspension offered by Mulfab which is another thing altogether. I am undecided on it but my natural instinct is to leave matters alone. I like the way my Morgan feels - bumps and all. But then the roads in my area are reasonably good.

Very useful info.... Many thanks. The roads around me are like the Somme, so it's an enhancement I need. I laughed at your anxiety about the axle joining you!

The road leading to your house is certainly like the Somme, Neil. I can well understand why you might want a suspension upgrade for that bit of road
