That username is showing as a member of TM so I do not understand why he says "And without access to the forum in question. I cannot reply directly." I certainly recall seeing him posting on Talk Morgan in the past.
But where is the fun in saying 'well I could reply, but I might not be able to make a sensible or convincing response'? Its a lot easier to say "I cannot reply directly." whilst simultaneously sticking your bottom lip out. Disclaimer and definitely "without prejudice" I have not had any opportunity to confirm, or otherwise, whether a bottom lip has indeed been stuck out.

If its the car on the opening page of Gomog and the one featured in this restoration project ( http://www.gomog.com/restoration/restoration1.html) then it looks beautiful. If I was in the market for a Plus 8 I would go and take a look at it. Are you sure you looked at the right car - I think Mike Duncan has another dark blue Plus 8. I don’t know anything about the history between Gomog and some people here and I don’t want to go there but, judging from the Gomog site and the work he put into that restoration, he does not seem the type of person who would allow his car to deteriorate.

If anyone should shoulder the blame it should be me as I was the first to write about Lornes +8 . Yes he had it nice ( in the past ) when the photos where taken , but as I pointed out he has used it on a lot of very long distant runs . He is expecting far to much for it and ought to wake up I have pumped a lot of cash into mine but if I sold it would not expect to get this cash back . I would hate to see someone getting ripped off it reflects on all of us badly . I fell out with a so called mate up here who sold his +8 with 50.000 on the clock had ran it for years with the speedo cable unattached , and had done almost twice the mileage ( it went to France ) . If Lorne wants to shout from his pramb then thats up to him . Its grow up or shut up .
