I would clarify if the oil selection should change for the hot environment of your part of the world. Some vendors select a different heat grade for very hot climates. Not all need this but it might be worth asking.

Do you guys all have breathers on the bevel box? Mine is spurting oil all the time and covering the underside of the M3W with oil and everything else.

Nadvys,
that sounds bad, if it is spurting out the oil perhaps that is a source of a lack of lubrication leading to noise and potential terminal failure?.

levels were checked at 500 miles and it appeared that factory had put too much oil, hence the oil leaking through the breather. oil changed and level ok, but same situation after another 500 miles (oil leaking via breather to underside)

I don't think mine has a breather , it has certainly never leaked oil , nor has any thing else. I think you should get it checked asap.

Interesting, but we have to know the level because I'm planning to change the bevel box oil from time to time.. On normal rear ends you fill the oil to the bolt, thats the level

Mine doesn't have a breather. Is the tube located on the top of the orange filler?
Q*. Like all diffs you fill the oil until it overflow from the filler which is located about midway up the side of the bevel box ( Should add this is where it is on mine now)
Slowly going green
