We're about to go touring in LB, but the luggage on the rack obscures the central brake light...is this legal, or do I need to fit an auxilliary light?
Thanks Mike

Not absolutely sure, but I think that if the light is fitted it must work and be visible. Quick fix might be to remove it altogether. Gerry.

Mike, I drove all through France, Italy, Swizerland and Luxemburg in both of my Moggies without the Cyclops brake light and had no problems at all. I worked on the basis that if it's not there then it can't be expected to work!!! Have a good time

I didn't lock my front door, nor did I get burgled; I'm of the view it's better there than not.

Mike You can get LED brake light bars from Halfords. (Made by Ring - £19.99) This can be mounted onto a strip of plastic/wood/ali which you can they fix under the luggage straps that hold your case to the rack. Run a connector extension from the cyclops light, which can then be plugged in, as requird.
