Interesting. That could be a good mod. I prefer the traditional hood for the look when the hood is not in use, but this looks like it could be quicker to erect and more water tight than the standard arrangement without damaging the aesthetics.
I couldn't get the video on the Simmonds site to load.

Russ Sayers in Yormog has had one for a long time and he swears by it . You are unable to bend it and the front of your hood is kept firm when popping it away .

I'd hurry up...Steve is closing down his Morgan operation! Recently I bought a pair of Windwings at Simmonds' , but as I now look at the website lots of items, including the WW, disapeared! Are they really closing down on these things including their hood conversions?

Thank you. I just had a new Mohair trad hood made this year in The Netherlands. It was just that I was surprised that a famous name in Morgan land steps back from Morgan. I'm glad I ordered my Windwings earlier this year, because they are really nice. I hope Simmonds will eventually do more than steering weels only (I read that under an other topic)
