I have read several magazine reviews of the 3-Wheeler. Most of them contain errors, specifically about the power output.

However, the more surprising thing is that (unless, as Murray Walker would say, I am very much mistaken) nobody seems to have measured the performance - acceleration and top speed.

Does anyone know why this is so (presuming it is)?

I believe Crazy Horse are going to have a three-wheeler rolling road set-up...

There was a comprehensive road test in Autocar magazine in the early part of last year, where it earned rave reviews and a five star rating. They would have carried out proper measured performance testing, and talk about 0 - 60 in 8.0 seconds, a top speed of 115mph and 29.6mpg. i have wondered about this to dron how long does it take to hit 0 to 60 how does it do in passing other cars can you pass quickly or do you need a big opening in traffic to pass . how is it on highways the speed limit here is 75 can i keep up in traffic or am i in the slow lane

To PaulJ: Thank you. I have seen that. There are no performance figures.

0 to 60 is more than enough. I've been on a few runs Pistonheads runs and I've managed to keep up with everyone. Even managed to leave the yankie stuff when the roads got twisty.

The car will happily cruise at 80-90mph, its more a case of how long you can. I've seen more than the stated max speed on my GPS

There is a simple reason:

It doesn´t care, once you drove one!

(and I asume all the testers realized it) :-)

Speed, times, figures are all relative.
Sure you always could need a bit more power, torque, speed, etc. after you got used to your vehicle.
But do you really really need it?
I don´t think so.
And thats the point of the M3W.
You will still have the fun and have an ancient driving experience that makes you smile.

In my case:
I will get the same adrenalin kick driving my M3W with 80-100km/h on the "Landstraße"
compare driving a modern car with 160km/h on the same road.

Even so I like the idea of the "deceleration of life" with the M3W

So the M3W is the best "health-insurence" I can get :-)

The point I am making is that Autocar, as far as I can see, has published only a vague reference to the 3-Wheeler's performance. There is not even a precise 0-60mph time. What I want is a full, detailed set of figures from rest to 30, 40, 50, etc, up to 100mph, and I wonder why that has not been provided. The 30-100mph time through the gears would give a strong indication of the real performance.
