I picked up on that and tweeted back to Charles for details, nothing yet.

Steve... I think you'll find that Charles only Tweets....he seems rarely to reply!

I've moved on from upgrading from 1.6 to 2 litre Duratec....it was more cost effective to slip a V6 Duratec into it! Only joking...swopped for a Roadster 3.0.

I had enjoyed the narrowness of the 4/4 body but to be honest when trying out the Roadster, apart from looks, the body width made no difference to the driving feel.

Hi Nigel!

Your entrusted Morgan dealer/agent should have the current pricelist at hand for you (from August 2013) - may be just on request?!?

The german dealer Flaving offers a narrow body option for the +4 at €1700.

In that case, a lot more than a bespoke 4/4! I would like to see a "2.0" option on the 4/4 instead...!

Looks gorgeous. A narrow bodied Plus 4 is going to be a very attractive model - classic looks with slightly more zingy performance. The only downside is power steering but hopefully this could be deleted. I would select a Traditional hood as well.

But where does this leave the 1.6 4/4 ? Is it not possible that 4/4 sales would suffer?

Ideally Morgan need to re-jig their classic range with a 2 litre 4/4 as the entry level model, the 3.7 Roadster as the flagship and a Plus 4 that sits more comfortably in the middle of the 4/4 and the Roadster - something like a 2.6 litre Ecoboost (if one exists).

Ahem....
The narrow bodied Plus 4 is a niche market.
It hasn't appeared on the price list while I've been looking, and I couldn't fathom where it fitted price wise, although it will be closer to Plus4 than 4/4.
My 4/4 Anniversary is a Plus4 in the log book, and I've insured mine as a Plus 4.
All very confusing. Pick up is planned for Saturday.

4/4s were traditionally the smallest capacity four wheeled Morgans and certainly not 2 litre! So really it should be a narrow bodied Plus4.

According to the registration documents Morgan sells only 4/4s in Germany. Three variants exist officially here. 4/4 1600, 4/4 2000 and 4/4 3700. The registration authority doesn't know the Plus 4 and Roadster.
