Apparently the narrow plus 4 needs 'better' tyres for the extra power, with a cost, and no discount for trimming a bit more from the wings, so expect bottom line Plus 4 prices, rather than 4/4 prices.

All of a sudden, after visiting on 29th July and then visiting again post Canterbury, it's time to get excited. Of course it's never 'convenient'. This week I can't get off work Thursday/Friday and Sunday we go to Devon, so it's a bit of a push. But hey, that's what we do.No fault of BHM by the way, it's just been a bit slow from MMC, but all is well now.
I have plenty of improvements and a bit of fairy dust planned so it will make a nice blog.
The waiting is nearly over......................

For registration in Germany all trad Mogs are named 4/4s in the EU COC regardless of boby width or numbers of pots.

OK, found the options in the Allon White website.

New 4/4 with 1.6 Sigma (not sure which gearbox) specced with five 5x15 s/s wire wheels, all remainder of spec left standard, including leather, painted dash, and vinyl easy-up hood, grand total £34431.

New plus 4 with 2.0 Duratec and Mazda box, specced with the same five 5x15 s/s wires, which defines the narrow body version, everything else standard as per the 4/4, total cost £37461.

So £3k extra for the 2.0 Duratec in a narrow body, seems quite a lot to me.

Seeing as you can get a 1600cc 4/4 with +4 wings and wheels, and a 2000cc +4 with narrow body, perhaps it's really just than MMC will build you whatever you want? Interestingly, my rather confused 2003 1800cc 4/4 has the wider, +4 body and is described in the registration documents just as a "Morgan" with no stated model!
