It was predictable that that would happen. Many people, anticipating that, will have made copies of krivette's interesting post...

The technical aspects of the bump steer resolution are interesting enough to have a separate post created. Can we have this part back on the forum?

It was correctly deleted IMHO...the forum is not the vehicle for a personal dispute, which appeared commercial to me, with the factory and the letter quoting members of TM's postings left me uncomfortable.

Yes a record of the problem and technical solution only would be appropriate in my opinion. I am sure it would be of interest to all M3W owners using TM.

In my opinion it was not a 'personal dispute' but a letter written out of frustration trying to get the factory to acknowledge and deal with the problems inherent in the bad front suspension design of the Three Wheeler, which affects all owners to a greater or lesser extent. In my opinion, this will depend on the type of roads they mainly drive on. The underlying problem is still there.

It has been well discussed here on numerous occasions, just do a search. What owners now want is a solution, preferably from the factory, but if someone else comes up with a 'kit' then so be it, and rather than krivette bringing a commercial interest into it, I very much had the feeling that, having spent a lot of money sorting his own car out, he was making the fix available to other owners, there may not even have been a profit element, I don't know.

Technically it was a most interesting post and a heartfelt attempt at resolving the bump steer frustration, this forum IMHO was not the place for it though.

p.s. Did CM not feel any bump steer on the Gumball ?

The post was deleted for the reasons stated above.

Following on from that, there is another side to the story and therefore, unless both parties are willing, able and have agreed to debate the point openly, it unacceptable for one person to take it upon themselves to start doing so on an open, enthusiasts run, non-commercial forum.

As PaulJ, one of the most vocal M3W members, has stated, this site has many threads running with plenty of comments on areas where owners believe the product can be improved; discussing that has never, and will never, prove to be an issue. However, this thread crossed a line - and as stated above - only tells part of the story.

I also find it frustrating that the people who jump into the debate, to condemn the deletion of this thread, are new/seldom use members. Whilst your opinion is welcome, perhaps it would be nice if you got involved in more positive threads on a regular basis, rather than fanning the flames on one that clearly goes against the terms of use of this site.

I have re-read all the posts above. Perhaps you should also. Nobody has "condemned the deletion" as far as I can see.
