Yes, because I'm reading the aftermath of a decision and the reactions to it. And those reactions was well described by him. You're the last person in this thread to cry foul over insults. Especially ones that are only in your mind.

Do I recall you saying you were a journalist? If so you ought to know better.

Yes I am a journalist, and I know bollocks when I see it. It seems you haven't moved on from defending the factory by bullying tactics, and are perfectly fine with thinking "I know the guys, therefore anything anyone says about the products are wrong". You know, just like the last time you did the sae exact thing, trying to shut people up because you arefriends with someone. And you even use the same tactics of trying to shut them up by being aggressive, while not answering the question. It seems you are so involved with the factory that you are unable to view anything even slightly objectively.

And as for you having more posts than most anyone around here, and your notion that they ought to know who you are. Well, who cares about your posts and how long you have been here on TM. Life didn't start when you joined TM and only evovled in this little pool. No, people actually live lives outside of TM, gaining their own experiences, and you're not entitled to respect for simply having been here on TM for longer and having posted more. Respect is earned, and every time you use your infantile tactics, you are shown to be worthy of even less.

Nothing more to be said really.

Indeed. I have said what I wanted to say.

Simon, this is not a "witchhunt". Yes, some people disagreed or questioned the move, but they didn't do so aggressively. Then Boshly moved in and tried to assert himself, and that's when people, including me, thought it became quite aggressive and in-crowdish, oldboys club, or whatever you want to call it.

Dear Boys, I respect all of you and can see both main points of view. It's good to see so much testosterone making its way onto the pages, but hasn't this now reached an impasse? Everyone has a point here, and none of you are idiots or evil, so may I suggest that we need to move on. It's getting a bit personal, and I don't think further posts are going to add anything.

I love my M3W - warts and all - but am interested in any possible improvements or solutions to the front end issues - to add to the debate, my nearside steering arm whacks the exhaust on anything but quite small bumps, and I'd love a cure for this too! But I have no regrets and lick my little car regularly (almost).

A friend of mine is convinced that the perfect car is boring, and none of us want that, but we do want the best and safest piece of 3-wheeled fun we can get, and are all keen motorists by dint of simply being on these pages. May I humbly suggest that this thread should be closed?

Yes, I have read those comments. Take note when they were posted. First you thought that people where ripping you a new one, when they were merely debating the merits of the decision. Then Boshly came along with his infantile defense, and then those quotes were made, because Boshly's defense was as it was.

Now, I may be wrong, Simon, but just because people disagreed with the decision you made, that doesn't make it a witch hunt, and just because people react to Boshly's aggressive attitude where he thinks he's entitled to respect because he knows people, doesn't make it a witch hunt either.

I'm okay with you having deleted the post, that's your decision, but you allowed people to continue to post in the very same thread, and then cried foul when people did. Then Boshly came along and made it all worse.

Putting aside all the handbag at dawn bit this thread has created.

Could it be possible for the technical information only to be re-posted ? Even just to show to existing and potential new owners that there is a fix coming for the bump steer.

Agreed!! Common sense and good manners must prevail. I love this site and it is upsetting for me to read some of these posts. I too am interested in front end fixes for my M3W - but in a conversational way only!!!!!

Simon,

I forgot to mention that people will always question decisions to remove posts - especially in a place like this where it very rarely happens. I view this as a good thing - both that it rarely happens and that it is questioned.

I appreciate that it is Simons call, and Boshley is a moderator. I also appreciate that parts of my post were, shall we say intemperate? Probably caused by frustration over the whole issue.

My car is at this moment with a specialist, who is able to correct the design deficiency, the same as Kevin Rivette, it is likely to cost me a lot of money to have done something which may or may not ever get sorted by the factory. As they refuse to communicate with owners, we do not know what, if anything, is happening, and are not lucky enough to be friends with the staff there.

The three wheeler has brought a lot of new members to the TM site, many of whom do not know anything about the factory, their staff or the way things work there, but do know that the product is faulty and would like it fixed, and as Simon has kindly made this site available, we are really just venting our frustration here, because the factory will not acknowledge that there is a problem. Maybe down to liability issues, I don't know.

I believe, as Wiscos has suggested, now is the time to let this topic be closed, but the bump steer issue itself, will not go away so easily I fear.

No, but in my opinion personal attacks do. I work on the premise that I would never say anything to anyone online that I would be unwilling to say to their face. I have not attacked anyone personally, nor will I.

Secondly, you quote Boshly to me in your responses. Andy (Boshly) is his own man and writes as he sees fit. Whilst he is a moderator of this site, I do not tell him how to feel, what to think or what to say. Like everyone else on Talk Morgan he is entitled to this opinion and some of those I agree with, some of them I do not. Confusing the two of us, or blurring the line between what we say/mean, is wrong in my opinion.

Furthermore, as per my initial comment, PaulJ made sweeping statements, which were directed at this site and myself; therefore, my comments stand - this is now less about an issue some owners are unhappy with and more about attempting to cast aspersions on certain members of this site (myself included).
