First post and you post that?
First of all, we don't know exactly which bolt it is, secondly, you need to provide some links or other evidence as to this happening elsewhere, thirdly, this is your first post? Fourhtly, do you suffer from deja vu too?

Welcome to the forum Oawald. I see you have been lurking for a while but don't let the the sometimes rowdy behaviour of some of the residents put you off. It really is quite a nice pub, particularly after you've had a or a or two and got to kow a few people. C'mon tell us a little about yourself

Hey Chaps. I realize that was a bombshell and I understand the incredulity. It happened to me last month. It took forever to get the parts, but the engine wasn't seriously damaged. http://imageshack.us/a/img27/7853/lb2d.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img845/1719/fhqh.jpgBy the way, I took possession of my Sport Gray three wheeler in July from Auto Europe in Birmingham, MI, USA.

And thank you for the welcome.
I've come to love this little anachronism, my 3W.
I love the twenty questions at stop lights ("What is it?"; "Did you build it?"; "How fast does it go?"; "What did it cost?").
I love the way that it makes people smile and laugh and the way it makes children giggle and point. [The ability to make HARD people (Detroiters) smile is worth every penny, friends. Every penny.]
I love feeling the bugs and gravel ricochet off my face (wear goggles, by the way).
I love the sound. I love the silly handling. I love the smell of the clutch and the heat of the pipes.
I could go on ...
If you're a 3W owner, you understand.

Old fashioned design practice would have a thread tightening against the rotation of the engine.

Thanks for the pictures, looks very similar to MrPB's, both seem to be recent cars I wonder if specs have changed . Glad it didn't do too much damage to the rest of the engine and you're back having fun :-)

Wow, two of them! I hope this isn't as endemic as the rectifier problem.
