No, I'm pretty sure we wont. Sold mine for the same as I paid - 8 years on - no other car has been that good, the worst was the Boxster.

I brought my first 1970 plus 8 for £3000 in 1983 and sold it for £6500 3 years later. I replaced that car with a 1977 plus 8 for £6250 and sold it 12 years ago for £17,500. I brought my third plus 8 for £12,000 and sold it last year for £27,000. I now have a new plus 8 and am expecting to eventually loose money on a Morgan for the first time!

Stanley was my first Morgan, bought 8 years ago, when I was 55. I had previously owned an Audi TT, so the 4/4 was a dramatic contrast. 30,000 miles later, including 8 wonderful holidays in Europe and the pleasure I get from driving the Morgan has not diminished. Bud __________ 2003 - 4/4 Stanley

My first Morgan was a 1959 +4. I had it for 28 years until I changed it for a 2004 Roadster last spring. The price I gave was 4000 pounds and I got 16000 pounds for it when I bought the Roadster. Ken in Sweden

I do think the problem is with the look. It is not trendy for young people, you have to be a true car enthusiast. Some car people just have certain cars for status values not because they are real car enthusiasts. I think they are wrong, there i am sure lots of young women out there that would love to be collected from their house on a bright sunny day with a man driving a top down Morgan, got to be better than a noisy big exhaust Corsa. I am a true car enthusiast but only got my first morgan in 2009 at the age of 48 but i did have my first vintage Rolls-Royce a 1931 20/25 at the age of 29 and loved it

There is nothing 'Old' about this 69 year old's head. In all honesty, Working away from home for most of the last 30 years before retirement limits the time for indulgences of any type that you can't take on a plane . As soon as time permitted and the need to keep saving for Retirement switches to 'SKI'ing , other options such as our first Morgan 6 years ago suddenly came into view.

Looking back, my history of 'sports' cars is probably as chequered and varied as many:
1985 - Age 20 - 1973 MGB
Big gap for university, house etc
1993 - Age 28 - 1988 Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet 1995 - Age 30 - 1991 Nissan 200SX 1997 - Age 32 - 1996 Nissan 200SX 2000 - Age 35 - 2000 Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 2002 - Age 37 - 1966 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 2013 - Age 48 - 2013 Morgan Plus 4 4 Seater
Sorry to bore everyone, but once I started writing down the details I couldn't stop !
Sad though I was to see the E-Type go, with 2 youngish kids the Morgan 4 seater is the perfect 2nd car and a very practical proposition. Looking forward to many more years with this one.

Its easy for us to say but ask the younger sect and see what they say . Jnr thinks we are all old farts ( me being No1 ) and as I wrote a while back she pointed out no young ones to pull in others . I paid £12.500 for mine in 1987 lads in the centre ranged from late 20s, a lot in their 30s and not a person retired . All had jobs and no spare time a camping w/end was a great time and everyone was an enthusiast at a noggin . Some today dont know whats under the bonnet and a nogging was so dull I stopped going .
