Some other factory photos!

Not enough room on my last posting to include these! For some reason gearboxes and in particular the remote changes, seem to fascinate me! Looking at the Duratec and the Sigma, the latter must sit further back in the chassis for some reason.

Numog's Roadster is rather nice, subtle in its spec with dark brown soft leather interior ....not the usual Muirhead leather, twin fillers, older style reflectors, dropped number plate and at the front, SS type spoiler, Supersport bonnets ( which has a cold air feed from the scoop to the induction) and Lucas tripod lights which set it off nicely. He'll be needing those today as he was planning a run into Wales!

When I was up there a couple of weeks ago I saw a Brooklands Roadster, it was ok but looking at that polished bonnet I think it will turn it into a stunning looking car.

The factory is a very interesting place, you can get to see what is under the skin. When you view the engine and transmission all laid out it is quite hard believe it will fit into such a modest car chassis. Also the engines look so sturdy and powerful in their bullet proof casings, a shame to hide them away in the depths of the car.
You are right Numog's Roadster is understated in that sand colour, but it does sound menacing under the bonnet.

Where did Numog get those old style over- riders from on the rear of his Roadster ? Much prefer these to the banana over- riders supplied by Morgan.

A Plus8 set of bonnets....they are a little lacking in the louvre count! hide

Although there was a Plus8 at the factory with side louvres as well.

Quicksilver....... Melvyn Rutter sells those older style overriders.

I miss the third brakelight at Numog's Roadster. Is the spare wheel interchangeble with the louvred cover? And are the side lights a later addition? I always like these charming little lights on the wings.
Its a great Roadster, I agree, like the color too!

Ruut, the louvred cover is just held on with a couple of locating tabs towards the base and a lockable catch at the top. Comes off and the spare can be easily fitted.
I think Numog had the wingtop side lights fitted after the car was delivered to him.
Like me. he is no fan of the third brake light style,

I did see at the factory the louvred spare wheel covers as an option for the Brooklands Roadsters and they have a neat third brake light set into them....in a similar style to the Sport models.
