The door bottoms are sorted for now......with extra rubber seals, and I've reset the latch on one side.

But before I get serious with the body I need to see if the chafing continues, so after some experimentation with clear 3m, some electrical tape has covered it for now:

There was also some chafing on the drivers seat:

But the Furniture Clinic kit has sorted it. I'm a real fan of this:

Drivers side floor: I assume the wire to the seat is a seatbelt warning thingy. Tacked down as usual.

Footwell, which I couldn't leave like that.......(including new organ pedal).

Pedal out for painting:

And refitted. Also fitted a small leather cover over the brake lamp switch.

Back together apart from a few long bolts!

This is the steering cowl bottom half. The location holes are rough cut and I've slotted them to get a bit more adjustment. The edge is bent over to clear the steering wheel boss, and I've removed a crescent shape to get rid of the rough edge. This needs more work when time permits. The Inca Yellow paint I used on the organ pedal.....

I also had an offcut of Mohair, and a few tools:

Not perfect yet and needs edging but cost nothing to knock up!!!!
Following Jays tip I've ordered some Dinitrol to touch up the edges, but my mudflaps will take care of this when I get time to make them up.
For the record those wine bottles are all empty thumbs

Re: "the Drivers side floor photo: I assume the wire to the seat is a seatbelt warning thingy." I'm intrigued with this wire too. My 2011 4/4 Sport has one just lying loose on the carpet. People I've asked reckon the Sport has no seat belt warning light on the dash so why the wire? I've just taped mine up!
Very interesting series of posts and photos - thanks

Do you think the seats originally had wooden strips? If not, it's appalling that they were bolted to the floor with those nuts protruding, hardly an elegant or stable arrangement. Also, wouldn't they (with or without strips) be better bolted direct to the floor rather than through the carpet? I agree with the suggestion above to use allen cap head bolts for those with recessed heads.

Your photo of the steering column shroud shows what a nasty cheap bit of plastic it is. The earlier shroud (Freelander?) was much better IMO.

I disconnected this wire in my Roadster.... It sounds a buzzer/pinger rather than any warning light.

I do hate the shroud. I fitted an Allon White one on my 4/4 which looked nice but was a swine to fit properly due to the leather covering. I've still got the original one from the 4/4 and I might try a bit of surgery and reconstruction on it!

In Morgan's defence, the shroud does work ok with their ugly Mountney standard wheel as the centre boss hides that raw edge. It's our fault for wanting to replace the steering wheel with something nicer!

Nice work on the Half Tonneau ......I made one up for the 4/4 in Everflex when I had the standard 9 stud hood fitted. It was very satisfying making it although piping around the sharp radius corners of it almost wrecked my sewing machine! I'd like to have done the same for my Roadster but the shape is too complex so Allon white will make one for me in January......they are booked up so far ahead!

PS. Did you get your Organ Pedal from Rutters? I've got one on order and they've just run out!!

Those wine bottles were full in the first photo Dave.
Is that a small hole in the gearbox cover directly ahead (towards front of car) of that stray seatbelt wire?
