Wow this used to be such a friendly place were people would agree to disagree and listen to the experience of others. I've stayed out of this as I have rose coloured glasses about my defective 3 wheeler.
Would I change it. No I'm an idiot and intend keeping it.
Strangely I have a new Lexus, brand new model only a few hundred in the country at the moment, it has a software problem. I've got nothing to do in my life so I'm going of to find a Lexus forum and tell everyone not to buy one.
Thinking about that's a bad idea, think I'll go for a run in my defective 3 wheeler.
At the end of it all we are not forced to keep these or any car, if your not happy sell it or send it back, don't buy another one and find something else which has a forum where everyone agrees with you.

Excellent post John. It sums up the culture of TM well and if there are issues, let's all look for the second right answer instead of just arguing interminably with each other.

As I said earlier, when someone gives up after having been shown how wrong he was, and having been explained why he's misrepresenting what is said, a new one is ready to step in and repeat the nonsense: Wow this used to be such a friendly place were people would agree to disagree and listen to the experience of others. I've stayed out of this as I have rose coloured glasses about my defective 3 wheeler.
Would I change it. No I'm an idiot and intend keeping it.

At the end of it all we are not forced to keep these or any car, if your not happy sell it or send it back, don't buy another one and find something else which has a forum where everyone agrees with you. And let me repeat this last part, because that too is also something I have explained ad nauseum, but it seems that some people are more than happy to make that point. So here it is, with an explanation yet again, since the point is yet again ignored: and find something else which has a forum where everyone agrees with you. Considering that I'm arguing against people who would prefer that no one talked modicifications, that noone mentioned any kind of problem, and that such things should be kept between the owner and the dealer, I find it rather intellectually dishonest on your part, since it has been explained numerous times. At this stage, I'm wondering if most of you, who are repeating these questions and continue to misrepresent what is said, are in fact unable to understand arguments, or perhaps it's matter of wilful ignorance when posting things like that again, a few posts after it has been explained for the umpteenth time.

Definitely a need for a "Dead Horse" emoticon or perhaps a "When in a hole, stop digging" one!!! - then again perhaps a "take a cold shower" or "Just go for a drive" --- all these seem to apply -- lets get back todriving our cars as AsboJohn says!!

Clearly you are far more articulate and intellectual than I am, you also appear to have far more time to argue on this matter than I do. But at the same time you have failed to convince me with your argument, so you have failed.
You have said you own a Morgan, but haven't said what, with you superior keyboard skill could you kindly post a picture of you with your 3 wheeler and its defective suspension. Maybe then we can consider and examine the curse of your angst.

Yes, let's go back to a time that never existed, where the only thing discussed where which colour, "went for a trip, nothing happened", and "Let's meet up"/Pictures from meet - you know, all that some people here have argued for should be the only sort of thing permissable. Maybe not you (I honestly can't remember all people who have made that argument by now).
I'm amazed that those people aren't in the thread with the new front suspension from Morgan, proclaiming yet again that he shouldn't have bought the "race" kit suspension as they did with, IIRC, Aldermog's suspension thread.

I'm not about to read all this, I just want to say I've driven ours over 1000 miles in the four weeks we've had it on Michigan roads, and it is nothing but a complete joy. I have 2 hands on the wheel and one giant grin at all times!

But at the same time you have failed to convince me with your argument, so you have failed. I don't watch telly, so at times, I do have time to debate. I like how you attempt to make it seem like it's my fault you completely ignore what has been said numerous times, and that it's my fault you (like so many others) misrepresent what is said, only so it can seem like you yourself have a valid argument. Things like that is called "a strawman argument". You have said you own a Morgan, but haven't said what, with you superior keyboard skill could you kindly post a picture of you with your 3 wheeler and its defective suspension. And there we go again with the willful misrepresentation of my arguments, and once again it is ignored what has been explained earlier in this thread several times. I do have M3W, I bought it used in Germany. It's registred in Denmark. No, it doesn't matter if I own one or not. I'm not retyping this again. Go read the earlier posts in this thread why it doesn't matter one bit. And third, I do not post pictures of me or my stuff on the interweb. Maybe then we can consider and examine the curse of your angst. Maybe you should read the posts instead of regurgitating the same ignorant argument that was refuted only a few posts back.

Your probably a very nice person, but one that just has to have the final word. Speaking personally I'm bored with your constant arguments, your I'm right and your wrong approach. You've made your point and some of us just happen to have disagreed. So this will be be my last post on the matter. You don't have to post the picture on the web, you can send it to me in a PM. Have a good nights sleep, and maybe you'll get out of the right inside of bed tomorrow and post some happy thoughts on TM

Speaking personally I'm bored with your constant arguments, your I'm right and your wrong approach. You've made your point and some of us just happen to have disagreed. I don't mind disagreement. I mind people trying to stop others from sharing modifications, trying to stop others discussing problems, and in the process misrepresenting what is being said (including the "attempting to build a GT out of a M3w" (about the deleted bumpsteer fix) and the "attempting to make a SLK out of [4W]" (not exactly that wording in either, but condensed, that is what was said about those. And "GT" and "SLK" was used to misrepresent what was actually happening.) So this will be be my last post on the matter. You don't have to post the picture on the web, you can send it to me in a PM. And there we go again. No I won't PM you a picture either, because, as I have explained, even in this very post, it doesn't matter one bit. And since it doesn't matter, I can see no advantage of posting it to you, regardless of it being in a PM or for all to see. Do you still not understand what is said? By now, as your last resort, it has suddenly become important that I post you a picture to "prove" something, even though it would prove absolutely nothing. I get it, it's an easy way out for you, because "if you don't post a picture, I can continue to ignore and misrepresent what you say. Only this time I will be fully justified". I'm not playing that game. What's next, you will ask to see a video of whine (I have very little whine)? Bumpsteer I have very little)? Problems with the rear spline (has been swapped)? Problems with the rectifier (Has been swapped for a HD one (not by me, though))? But as has been explained to others and to you directly - several times by now - that is not the reason I'm arguing against the attempt to close down anything positive and unproblematic. I disagree, because I do think that people should be allowed to talk modifications, and yes, that includes mechanical mods, problems, and anything else. I'm against limiting discussion to "let's meet", pretty pictures, "which colour and leather for my xx" and so on. The very thing that quite a few thought should be the only kind of threads - That no one should talk about problems, modifications, or anything of the sort. -------- It's funny you claim to be bored of it, yet you're more than willing to continue to ignore what I'm saying, and if that doesn't work then misrepresent what is being said, only to make your argument valid. Well, at least in your own mind. Have a good nights sleep, and maybe you'll get out of the right inside of bed tomorrow and post some happy thoughts on TM And maybe in the same span of time, you might be able to read what I'm saying - even in this very post. Yes, indeed.
