Morgan France outsource all the maintenance work,( I believe to one of their former mechanics). When I take my car in for a service it is taken elsewhere for the work. As they supply new cars with 4 years warranty and servicing I've not yet had to put my hand in my pocket for this, and all issues have been resolved to my satisfaction. No doubt all the spares for service items reside with their contractor who does the servicing.

I assume it has been set up this way ever since Morgan France was created out of the ashes of Jacques Savoye (which went tits up in 2004). Outsourcing the maintenance was presumably done to keep the overhead down and to enable them to get the new company off the ground. I can't say I blame them on that score; France is a nightmare country to run a small business, you have to be an idiot to have one more employee than you ABSOLUTELY need.

So yes, for after sales service for a passing customer it's not up to much, and they clearly couldn't respond to your needs. BHM or Uncle Melvyn they 'aint!! However, I've always found them to be friendly and helpful, I have no real complaints about the service I've received, and they do sell quite a lot of cars, so to describe them as pointless is perhaps a little strong.

From what i saw, they could do much better, the location is very good..they need better marketing. they need a gear head in the showroom that talks more & friendlier, had a bad experience,if i was living in france i wouldn't think twice for a morgan.& you said (I wait for an answer for an indicator which does not work any more and a broken gas pump) says what?careless or pointless, your market is big.dubai is going to open in november & they will get 3 m3w,if their service isn't fast/correct,people will hear about it and they wont sell well.most important thing is after sales care & servicing

Hello,
Just to restore the truth on Morgan France. I live in 300 km, it is a local garage which makes the maintenance on the M3W.
The reproach, it is because spare parts do not arrive but I suppose that Morgan France has no stock and orders them to the factory ...

Someone actually told me that they were closing down... Scam? If true, what would be the alternative?
En tout cas bienvenue Denis, de la part d'un [bien heureux] exilé outre manche !
