Don't delay, get the screw holes filled with silicon or fit a matching s/s screw to seal them. Otherwise you will get a soggy bottom!!!!

They're not just for the hardtop - the hood cover has two metal lugs that slide into the groove at the rear. My Aero 8 has them and I only have the hood cover.

No water ingress on mine, but may have been filled at some point by thoughtful dealer - my car was a demo (with 120 miles on the clock) for a couple of months before I got it...
