It occurred to me, sitting in a traffic jam trying to get into Salisbury, that the least successful car brands have the letter "T" in the makers name, the most do not.
Consider:
Talbot = T twice and now extinct Peugot Renault Fiat Triumph (extinct)
I'm sure there are more!

I'm not sure about Fiat. Fiat now owns; Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, Maserati, and Chrysler. It also gets royalties from many automotive inventions including the the Common Rail Diesel. In addition it has divisions that are occupied with commercial, industrial and agricultural vehicles. It is true that they can be critised for quality issues but then who is exempt from that

Hmm, in defence I was thinking small European cars.
And I withdraw the slur on Fiat. They and their group do produce some good cars: we owned 6 Alfa Romeos over 25 years.
But who where here would actually go out and buy a Chevrolet (now all but Korean in Europe),a Toyota a Bugatti, an Aston or even a Bentley? Not me.
