Great day with combination of - technical presentations - food - and chat with lots of TM people.

Only Identifiable as they emerge in person from their "GCHQ" labels on TM!

Well done Henry Williams and team. It was a day we hope you will repeat in future.

Cheers

I will second that.
My first (but not last) visit to Williams.
Thoroughly enjoyed the event and hospitality.
I even came away with excellent round wing mirrors, which Mike kindly installed for me.
And great to meet more TMers and new people. Forgot my camera so no photos.

Indeed!
Thanks to you Ian for your old mirrors and J for his clock that is about to be replaced with an ex-MIG device!

David, good to catch you today plus your mechanic pal Peter - and a man with similar opinions re the current state of modern cars.

Also, Peter (Aldermog), Neil M (sorry I had my paws full, but it was lunchtime!), plus all the other TMers.

Definitely a grand day, with interesting talks, good tucker and great craic - THANK YOU WILLIAMS team thumbs

Cheers,

Graham (G4FUJ)

Lol...tried twice to post and TM has frozen! Third time lucky!!

Great meeting up with some old and new faces and putting a face to dmh!

Interesting talks from Peter Ballard/Suplex and Omex. I understand the workings of the front suspension better now, look forward to rear leaf development and am still lusting after that Omex 2.0 Duratec with throttle bodies even though I have a Roadster!

Williams should be well pleased with the turnout and how the day went....many thanks for organising and for whoever did the food...that chilli was great!

Good to see some faces from the factory there as well.

Interesting visit and even swmbo enjoyed walking around. I thought it was very mean of Graham not to offer me his lunch and glass of wine. laugh2 Even caught up with vincentvg (Nick) who was arriving as we were leaving.

Thanks to Williams for the day.

Yep - good to catch up with you again Neil, and meet Jill (spelling?) - all too briefly.

Afraid mine was but a fleeting visit: TM'ers (those that I can put faces to) were all engrossed with the Man From Omex when I landed: then I became engrossed with the Men From Malvern ... then I had to go. So apologies to fellow posters I failed to connect with. Another time I guess ... cheers

But another fine effort from the Williams team. Their success is well-deserved!

+1 to all of the above, a great day and a real delight to meet some of the people behind the posts on this place!

The food was excellent:I want to know where the sausages were sourced and my congratulations to the people responsible for the Chilli, it was excellent.

We got back without rain so the Aldermog is as clean and bright as Caroline left it. I certainly didn't expect that!

Peter.

Until the next one!

What was interesting in the Suplex presentation were the brief mention of both single leaf rear suspension and possible solutions to the Three Wheeler bump steer.

One thing that came out loud and clear was that the Suplex dampers on the early m3w were far superior to the Spax version. Personally, if I had one on order I would insist on having these fitted. They don't solve the problem but they do (as stated in the presentation) reduce the symptoms.
