Trojan, Austin and Reliant a few of the fails but I don't recall Moskowich, Gilbern, Saab, Daf or Berkeley being in business nowadays either.

Well I'll put my head above the parapet and say I rather like my Pugs, good everyday drives and with the RCZ a bit of style (ok that's subjective). I recently sold a Peugeot 107 after 120000 fault free miles driving me to work and back between Leicester and Birmingham. Very cheap to buy and run and got a great tradein from the dealer when I bought the 208.

I'll keep quiet now.

That's a bit harsh. Nothing exciting (nor offensive); but just keep running. Often practical too.

Toyota ruined Land Rover's market share when the locals realised cars didn't have to break down smile

I view Toyota and other Japanese car makers rather like I vire Miele washing machines and dishwashers. Very well engineered, utterly reliable and do the job as advertised. But they don't excite me or interest me.

Keep running?
The car in front is a Toyota - there's been a spate of them that people couldn't stop...
