Australian M3W

Hi there,

Today I was in Melbourne for some client meeting and between them, I had a spare 30 mins so stopped by Morgan Australia to say hello and see the cars.

Here are some photos of the M3W as it nears ADR approval to be used in Australia. A lot of hard work has gone in locally and from the factory. Main changes I noticed:

1. No windscreen, now wind deflectors (as if it has a windscreen it needs demisters, wipers, washer etc.)
2. Padding on top of the bulkhead (like the four wheelers)
3. Padded steering wheel and collapsible column.
4. Rear high level brake light.
5. Indicators moved (ET come home?) on the front and rear.
6. New wiring loom (or so I am told!)
7. Headrests

Other than the M3W they had a beautiful Plus 4 with absolutely stunning (Jaguar) silver paint. So pretty. First time I had seen a painted dash and I quite liked it.

I'd never meet Chris and his wife before and found them most hospitable. Look forward to ordering the suitcase as soon as I get home to make sure it fits!

R.

Speak for yourself mate. They still work when it's raining.

some of the changes I would honestly say are for the better and having a headrest will certainly save you from some impact situations, its probably the worst looking add on, but probably also the smartest.

I guess the headrest is work in progress and can be refined.

I don't understand the point in fitting wind deflectors. As i recall it i was looking through the windscreen with one eye and above it with the other eye.
That black thing must seriously impact vision.

I also like the padded top to the dash, guess these changes could be ordered as extras if so desired?
