I actually think that some of the upgrades to the Aus version must make the car a bit safer.

Also, I had never seen the underside of the M3W, so thanks for the shot on the lift

Agree - never seen an underside.

There is a lot of expensive cars in those show rooms/workshops....

If this is testing etc. is to make the vehicle safer then why has the aero screen (pic 1) been shaped into a rectangle with a pointed corner, as rectangles tend to have smile

My thought too. I can only assume that Aussie regs state that the top edge of the screen must not be in the line of sight, but that pointed corners are OK becasue they have not been mentioned in the rules. ie, nobody has thought about it yet!
