Helped build mine today at the factory. A real privilege and part of the unique Morgan experience. There were as many 3 wheelers as 4 wheelers in build which was encouraging to see. Roll on November. Apparently the fishtail pipes on the Brooklands sound quite fruity. Bring it on !!

Most 3w's have black wheels. Are silver ones an option or EU spec?

Chrome wheels are not a factory option, but Melyvyn Rutter ordered them in for me from Motor Wheel Services - www.mwsint.com.

Morgan do not give the option of chrome wire wheels (at the moment), it's black or black. You can get a pair of chrome ones of the same spec (MG J1/2) from MWS for about £500 delivered (UK). If you don't want to keep the black ones, there is a good market for them from MG restorers who are very keen to take them off your hands, at the right price. When I visited the factory in August it was mentioned that they may offer chrome (and silver painted I assume) wire wheels as an option "soon". It's a very easy option for them as MWS, who supply Morgan, sell all three finishes. I like the look of my chrome wires better than the black ones although they are hell to keep clean.

Had an email from my dealer this afternoon they have taken delivery , so dropped by after work for a nosey. They had closed by then , but nose pressed to the showroom window glass I could see my M3w in the gloom. Roll on Saturday !
I am being offered a paint protection system called Ceramic Coat , with all sorts of claims about it protecting the paintwork for years to come - anyone any experience of this ? At £290 its not cheap !

Forget the paint protection waffle - it's simply a dealer cash cow. Elbow grease & polish is cheaper..
