Not in my book. I haven't got that much spare money to waste on lemons

I thought that was an optional extra?

Spoke with my dealer yesterday, he said that M3W sales in the U.S. are pretty slow at the moment - mainly because of the bump steer and bevel box issues. He said these two issues are often raised by most people who come in for a test drive...and the most frequent reason people give for not ordering...

It's a shame...these are two issues that could have been easily solved with good engineering up front...

I STRONGLY suspect a fix is imminent...too bad we all have already ordered...I wonder if the fix will be retrofitted.

All good points.

My dealer now has the bevel box in stock so a suspension mod and new exhaust and I will be ready for the roads again. Weather permitting.

Should have ordered the SOH!!

Pleased to hear you'll soon be back on the road.

When you say 'a suspension mod ' are you referring to the adjustable shocks or is the 'comfort ' kit now available ?

I am looking into this Empire Racing mod but keeping my powder dry for the Factory mod.

I can drive the car still with screaming bevel box. I have managed 2000 miles like that!

Ah, I'm thinking along similar lines smile

I must be the only person with a quiet bevel box from day one!
