6' 190lbs, had the dealer put the pedals all the way forward. They're also 'angled' forward as much as possible. Works fine ...
Congrats !
thumbs cheers

I've just resurrected this old thread of Crowbars, because it occurred to me that by moving the pedals sideways, so that the accelerator pedal is only just off the footwell panel, there may just be enough room alongside the clutch pedal to straighten the left leg, when not using it, perhaps even to fashion a small footrest. It may differ between left and right hand drive cars, I'm not sure?

Has anyone explored this idea yet, and will it work, before I get myself tangled up in knots trying it?

Hi Paul, I briefly looked at this when moving my pedal box as far forward as possible but there is hardly enough room for a fag paper let alone my size 10's.
PS.
I'm still contemplating the Empire front suspension kit or possibly the MMC track rod kit.
Is there a huge difference in steering feel after moving the upper wishbone inner pivot outboard by 40mm or so.
I'm trying to do some sort of cost benefit analysis here, but getting nowhere.

The problem with drawing the clutch leg back Nippy, is that you then have quite a severe bend at the knee, with the consequent extra weight moving to the right buttock, which after an hour or two starts going numb. This could be eradicated if the left leg could be straightened by putting it down beside the clutch - if room could be found.

Dab, I did look at the width of the footwell, and felt that, just maybe, if the pedals were bent one way or the other a bit, some room could be found, but it's a fiddly job and not one I really want to start if there is no hope of it ever working.

With regard to the Empire geometry correction kit, I would say that for the £795, that they are charging, it is a better bet than Morgans spacer only kit, as not only are they making the spacer, which frankly, is the easy bit, but a whole new top wishbone for either side as well as the ali. brackets and stay, completing this with three fully adjustable spherical joints [one for the steering and two for the inner wishbone attachment points], which then allow full adjustment of the camber, castor, as well as toe. The only thing the kit can't do is to correct the offset of the king pin or upright, which I understand is a major job involving redesign of the chassis, uprights and stub axle.

Not having driven the car with only the spacers fitted, which, as I understand it, is all that Morgan are making available, I can't pass judgement on the difference, but I can say that with the new upper wishbones as well as the spacers, the steering is in a completely different league, lighter with more feel, and no bumpsteer at all. I now steer with just two fingers, just for fun. The steering no longer weights up in a corner nor will it will change line mid corner, and it now goes exactly where it is pointed.

I will be returning my car to Empire in a couple of weeks for them to make copies of the kit, and I suspect they will need final orders shortly after that.
