As far as I see, there will be a dealer meeting in Malvern later this month. I am very curious about the topics on the agenda, so please to the folks with the big ears listening , when you have the know-how of wiretapping my female chancellor, could you install a bug there and give us some informations?

I talked to Henry Williams about this yesterday.
He is as curious as we are!

The only thing you can say for sure is that it will be death by Powerpoint followed by another death by a sandwich lunch.

Then the dealers will fall asleep in the afternoon session as it will be similar to the morning and they have been fed.

Most of these things tend to be a bit of a non even.

No doubt the dealers will complain about quality issues and problems with spares and car deliveries and a lack of information and rectification issue from the factory.

The Morgan management will show some slides in management speak that will appoint a champion or more than one with the persons email and mobile to sort these issues. If it has not been fixed in the last 50 years what will change with the champions on the case.

Then the plans for the future will be discussed re whether they will grow the worldwide dealer network or reduce it and what models will be discontinued to fit in with the new vision.

I have worked in the Oil Industry all my life and that's what would happen there. Probably the same in the Auto Industry but the dealers will be a bit more outspoken than all those waiting for their final salary pensions in the Oil Industry.

If you are a dealer and you have an order "on hold" because your client wants specific answers to specific questions, you'll raise your arm immediately after the power point stuff ends. I know I would.

And I know one dealer that has been emailed with various links to various sites, but mostly to threads in this forum, and I hope he goes to Malverm with all the info he gets here from you current M3W owners so he can ask the "right" questions, no mistakes on what really matters. He will probably read this post too.

I suspect many dealers will be in the same position. And I hope they return with good news for all. By "all" I mean current and future M3W owners of course.

I would guess:-

1. rationalise.

2. Get more deposits in.

3. Become more profitable.

4. Customer focus.

5. Look to the future.

Might need an International effort on this Waldemar.

If we can get you to send Mrs Merkels phone over to Malvern and then we can get our American Morganeers to let us know what is happening stirpot
