Peter, my Sept 2011 plus 4 similarly had only on horn fitted.
I put this down to cost savings at the factory.

Did you need to install a relay, to handle the extra horn?

I figured that the wiring was set up for two horns so it should be ok. I searched the internet for one the same as the factory had fitted but High tone.Car was only fitted with Low tone. In the end I bought a pair of FIAMM horns.

I found two Lucas horns on e-bay but had to extend the wiring as it was just too short.

Talking of horns I was browsing through the paperwork on my Roadster and saw that the first MOT was failed due to a non functioning horn. My horn push has an extremely strong spring (something I want to rectify) and I wonder if Kwikfit who did the MOT for the previous owner really understood Morgans?! There was also an advisory due to "under trays" hiding part of the car....although I'm at a loss to understand that one!

It's not a great idea taking a Morgan to Quick fit..............

The undertay comment is peculiar. Maybe they though the wooden floor was nailed over to hide something.

Of interest I believe the fact that full lock causes the wheels to rub on the frame would be a fail point for un initiated mot examiners. QED

Or elsewhere sometimes: the first time I went for a Controle Technique here it was about to fail because the handbrake wouldn't work. The chaps colleague sighed, went to the car and showed him how to operate it. I've not had a problem with them since.

And so it continues. I thought my Roadster had HOE mirror bases but after comparison I think they are factory bases with HOE mirrors.
This is the factory base unit. No real sign of lubrication. The gasket is clear. Evidence of blue sealant on the screw threads.

The HOE base is very different.

The streamlined look.

No mirrors.........

Compare HOE to the factory base.

A very simple swop. The new gaskets are black and I've added a bit more rubber under the end so the big bendy spring doesn't chafe the doors.
