The CTEK charger arrived today so I fitted the umbilical cord.
Just fits to the terminals. I filed out a groove so that the wires could emerge from behind the alloy cover.

The wires are held with a C clip screwed into the timber.

Final job today was to replace the electrical tape on the door frame with Reflect-a-Cool. It looks much better and being silver, picks up the yellow reflection.

Dave,

I suggest you replace the standard ctek battery connector with the rather better version which has battery charge indicators and also a fuse. I am certainly against having a direct connect to both battery terminals without proper protection against a possible short circuit. Easy to catch that lead in the seat runner and a fire is not a good idea.

Nice work as ever Dave. Interesting to see the HoE mirror bases.

Dave. On the mirror bases are you sure the blue sealant on the threads is not Loktite?

I fused my CTEK. I would recommend that, I once had a Mkiii sptifire in which somoene hard wired a light for the glove box without a fuse. It wasn't fun when it shorted out, though fortunately there wasn't a fire

I inserted a 7amp (brown) fuse in a waterproof blade fuse holder into the positive side of the circuit.
I should have fitted a mini blade fuse holder as my Morgan uses mini blade size fuses
Next time I have the soldering iron out, I will so a change over.
