Hi Chris, Forgot to say , as per the pioneering links, I got mine from Indespension , their part number MG008. http://www.indespension.co.uk/Plastic-Mudguards/MG008.htmlDont be put of the description being for a 13" wheel - this the right part for the M3W. Also call into your local branch if you can - I was ripped of for £9 postage ! Graham

I would like to see more pictures for the fitting of the rear end, I have the mudgard from the german link somewhere in this forum and it fits perfect, but it is not yet fixed.

Mudguard as supplied , with factory mudguard laid on as template Plastic mudguard cut to shape If you cut the plastic mudguard up to the fold in the factory one , you clear the drive belt - do a test fitting ! Drilling through , using the factory holes. I had also fitted three bolts above these at this point as extra security - after cutting the plastic mudguard I was concerned about the amount of strength it had lost , so fitted extras bolts. Probably over kill. Use plenty of clamps ! Trial fitting - still not enough clearance for the drive belt , so I took some more off that side. Long distance shot of the trial fitting Bending up a length of steel bar ~I had to hand for the rear bracket. I used the angles of the inner wood frame , at the position of its final placement as a guide. I am not proud of the rear bracket as a piece of engineering - but it is hidden out of view and will have to do ! Close up of the angle Terrible photo of the complete bracket. I chose to use a tee peice from B&Q to bolt onto the plastic mudguard. Bracket bolted onto the mudguard , still checking all clearances. I have pulled the plastic mudguard up out of position in the boot here - it is fairly flexible. Final shot of the tail bracket fastened up. I chose to fasten mine to the upper woodwork - I believe others have fastened it to the lower woodwork - whatever you find easiest !

I dont understand your adaptation You fixed the mudguard on the bottom with the "bras oscillant " And you fixed the upper on the chassis. How could it move?

If it is like mine, it is plastic and can flex the small amount that may be required of it on occasion.

Exactly - By pulling the whole mudguard out of the boot space while still attached ( second to last picture ? ) you can see these plastic mudguards are extremely flexible and able to take severe bends without problem. Besides which , the rotation back at the swinging arm in normal use should be pretty minimal - I think the swinging arm would hit its stop before it became a real problem to the mudguard. I will report back and problems I have after I have put some miles in.
