Does your 4/4 just have nipples a the bottom of the springs? (Mine does, and is the same age)
In which case you may wish to consider the following: It is possible to over-grease at that point, in which case you risk grease coming up from the greasing point, through the spring coils and going onto the brake discs.
By crawling under the car with the grease gun, you can check on this each time you greaee.. . . . . just a thought.
Yes, mine only has bottom nipples, too, and I did just as you described a few weeks ago. I'm not yet committed to fitting a remote kit - it's just on my list of possibles. I'll wait and see how I get on with the trolley Jack and axle stands on my Christmas list first.

Curry gives me 'gravy laser on full power' in under an hour. Son in Law is the same, but more 'howling at his own soup'....... And I'm invited to a 60th Birthday curry night on Saturday......

I am in India right now so I can't check my bill but Mogworks charged me max 1 hr labour = £55 + vat. THey are in High Wycombe so the fuel costs will be well below the savings So two of us in India... what is the probability of that! Hyderabad today, Mumbai yesterday, Delhi on Thursday. Monday was Bangalore, Tuesday travel via Mumbai to Baroda, today Baroda, Thurs Calcutta , Friday Delhi and Sat home. Small world.

the worst bit is Baroda is in Gujarat which is alcohol free so no beer but curry for breakfast , lunch & dinner for 2 days.
So far so good re Dehli belly.

During the 1980s I had a few trips to Northern Pakistan (Rawalpindi), including one where I was there for 10 days. Alcohol free and curry only diet! Very important that you avoided sneezing!

Just had the canteen food for lunch. Mango chutney, spicy popadoms, dahl & veg curry. Lovely. All taken on the roof top canteen of the solvent based ink factory in 33 deg c heat.
