The M3W polarises opinion like nothing else - apparently. And it has brought us a lot more 'characters' onto TM. If you lot think you can coerce me into creating a separate forum called Talk BumpSteer, you're mistaken! I've stayed out of these conversations because, previously, I didn't believe I had anything of value to add. I am aware that MMC read this forum and do take the feedback of owners seriously; however, I do not expect disappointed owners to take my word for it. What I can say is that I have spoken with Steve Morris and I wanted to make the following points clear: - The Comfort Suspension pack, Bevel Box revision and Urban Cooling pack will all be available to purchase should the owner wish to add these to their vehicle. Therefore, those owners who have pre MY14 (model year 2014) M3W will be able to alter their cars to the latest specification. The costs of the packs will be announced at the Global Dealer Conference next week and I have been promised the costings after this meeting; however, in the interim, it has been confirmed that MMC have tried to keep them as costs effective as possible. The company are not expecting a large demand but wanted to ensure that those owners who do want to bring their car up to MY14 spec can do so at a fair price. The MY14 M3W will go into production in January; therefore, cars that have been delivered this year will not have the packs fitted to them. This seems to have been a question being mooted, so I wanted to answer that. Lastly, MMC do take feedback seriously and Talk Morgan is a source they glean a lot of information from. I have been asked if I would be willing to facilitate a structured feedback session in Q1 of 2014 and I am currently considering this request. I will let you know more once I have decided.

So what should Boshers do about the bump steer on his Brabus Smart? We sold ours earlier in the year as we found the latest model somewhat anodyne compared with the first iteration. Maybe that's why we don't have a problem with the handling of our own M3W ... Brian

Well done Simon,
great to share that prior to it becoming common knowledge.
If you willingly act as a go between maybe watch Spartacus.
I can hear Boshly saying "I am Spartacus"
But, I am Spartacus and so is my wife!

ps Andy; tlLB send a hug and says "Hi"
True story. Very good friend of mine Steve, known to some on here and came to LMC 2012 with me, is 6'4" and though not fat isn't a slim jim either. Was sitting in my Smart with me whilst we were driving through Farnham with the roof down. His phone rings and his daughter calls and says "Dad, just seen you and Andy drive past me in Town with the roof down" Steve says "Oh hi Hun, didn't see you you ok?" Daughter says "Never mind that, one of you get out now!"
Cheers
