Just wondered how many M3W owners are or were motorcyclists? Seems obvious to make the connection, but as with all assumptions, it ain't necessarily so..

I've been on two wheels since early teens & hankered after a three wheeler Morgan for years, even went up to Darwen to try out a JZR from Mr Ziemba. I've competed alongside the late Tony Divey with his Triking and drooled over it, but it never came together for me for various reasons until this year.

So how many M3W owners are motorcyclists too..?

Guilty as charged - biker since I was 20 on all sorts of bikes. Would probably want to get my KH400 back again in truth....

Biking for 44 yrs, 30 of those on Harleys.

Yes, I started as a 15 year old, on an old 98cc Villiers engined Sun, with girder forks and a 2 speed box, riding it around the garden 'till I was 16, then a variety of bikes and scooters. Cars then took over but I had various bikes on and off for years, but nothing for the last 15 years. Every time I started looking seriously at another bike, I would see a headline about another biker being killed, and I thought, that could be me, so when the M3W was announced, it seemed to bring it all together, and whilst it is in no way comparable to a bike, it does at least have a wonderful engine note and 19" wheels.

Yes indeed.
53+ years on 2 wheels.
All of the bikes, more than 25 of them over the years, had big V-Twin [1200cc or more] power plants.
These engines are nearly bullet proof, easy to work on, and have a lot of performance modifications available.
To be honest, Morgan's decision to use the S&S engine was a factor influencing my decision to purchase a M3W.

Seeker, a lot of Harley owners in Youkay are just accountants and lawyers that want to wear leather. I like a lot of those Harleys, especially Nightsters. Very comfortable in my leather trousers (Pants) too!

I started on Villers engined Greeves as a teeneger, 125, 150, 250. Then AJS and Panther. Velocette followed by a shedload of Trials bikes Bultaco, Montessa etc.
Most recently Gas Gas and Ducati 748. Wife made me sell them but here is the good bit she then agreed with a M3W and enjoys driving and being ballast.

Now I wonder how many other owners will think that she was most unreasonable when I wanted to keep the Ducati in the house as an ornament with no petrol.

I confess here to having a Montesa Honda 4rt in the spare bedroom..!! Until the workshop gets built in the spring, of course..

Not sure how a Ducati in the conservatory would go down..some are more brave than others..

Me too, various Ducati road bikes and Suzuki and Honda race bikes...all a bit of a long time ago now, found I was being a little bit more enthusiastic on the road than was entirely sensible.
