Got my car last week! Been too busy driving her to post!

All in all I'm very happy with the car...I'm fortunate to have an essentially silent bevel box, and on the smooth roads in my area I haven't noticed had any issues with bump steer either. Considering my initial grousing here at TM that is a bit ironic smirk2

My car was built in the second week of October and has a Spax setup. It looks like the original suspension - but I'm posting some pics for others to weigh in.

Dealer installed a leather MotoLita wheel and headlight grilles. The wheel is beautiful, but is a touch large, and at my height (5' 9") it bisects my field of view at the wrong level...I may experiment with some other smaller options...

I found this fantastic motorcycle windshield bag (Made by Willie and Max, purchased from Dennis Kirk https://www.denniskirk.com/willie-and-max/take-along-windshield-bag.p506420.prd/506420.sku ) that has a bracket that can be screwed into the passenger firewall to serve as a glove box. I'm using hook and loop for now as I wasn't sure I'd like the setup, but I'll definitely be screwing it in permanently. Only downside is that the bag is very high quality vinyl ("synthetic leather" per the manufacturer) and not leather...

I've done about 200 miles since delivery, only minor gripe are the typical squeaks and rattles - I'm planning a dynamat install soon to see if that helps.

The S&S motor certainly imparts a certain character, but I wonder if the car wouldn't benefit from a higher reving more eager powerplant, this torque monster feels a touch "lazy" to me, but who really cares!

My right front headlight insists on pointing upwards slightly, but it's fine for my uses...

Took her to the track with the Caterham group here in Houston the day after she was delivered, I was suprised at the stability, but I wasn't anywhere near the limit.

Let the fun begin!

Looks lovely, Mr Bar (may I call you Crow?)

My lefthand headlamp also points "up" despite 3 rejigs by the guys at Williams. Individuality, I think it's called.

Keep us posted with your travels in the 3W.

Cheers

Jeremy

Bar or Crow...I'm not particularly formal!

I'm sorely tempted to grab the offending lamp and just bend it into position (submission) - but I suspect that will end badly...

I tend to lean toward the Jeremy Clarkson "I'll get a hammer" school of auto repair, it's a problem...

Crowbar, lovely that you are finally on the road.

Great colour combo, the leather looks better than my black. I knew mine would look better with black heat shields!.

All credit for the color goes to Blake...I copied his "Alfa Romeo Nero Metallic" choice exactly!

Thanks amigos, thinking about some stripes, maybe dark silver and red. I may do them in vinyl...

We are the same height and I got the smaller Moto Lita wheel and its perfect. Your m3w looks better than when I saw it LIVE !

Looks strangely familiar smile thumbs

As per the squeaks try putting some padding (cloth) in different sections between the body and chassis gaps each time you go out and you'll soon quieten most of them. Then you can go down the sound deadening route knowing exactly where to put all the small sections / off cuts.
