The seat pad( the bit you sit on) in my car seems to have collapsed somewhat!! Does anybody have advice of how to repair it??

The seat webbing can be replaced, it's not a fantastically difficult job, but you do have to remove the seat cover. About ten years ago my seat webbing split just before I was going to Europe on a longish drive. I didn't have time to fit a new piece of webbing so I grabbed a spare roll of strimmer line that I had kicking about and just laced back and forth across the seat rails. It worked fine, so much so that it's still there.

Thanks, Richard - it has no spacers, so that's one less hassle. Does anyone know how the leather is attached to the seat on a 2009 plus4?? I guess I'll just have to get on with it and proceed with caution!
Cheers!

Normally the seat leather is held on by small circular clips all around the edges..they clip the leather to the tubular frame. It's pretty clear once you've got the seat out of the car but you need to prise them off carefully as they can cut the leather if you're hasty. Nick

This is what you'll find...... The C clips are a bit of a handful, but nothing a screwdriver can't deal with.
