Hi Vince...it's looking pretty cool. Have you tracked down some suitable seats yet?

I like the 'ugly but functional' steering wheel. It's OEM, and I was quite happy with one on my '76 4/4. Decent rim thickness to be able to grasp with ease (particularly when hauling the car around an Autosolo course ). As for the remainder - it's looking good! Will look forward to updates as things progress.

Hello Jay. I did find seats. It wasn't as easy as I thought. They're nearly ready for install. Utilized original mounting/tracks.

I agree 100%. In fact, I bought a 1975 steering wheel and had a special adapter plate made, so I can quickly unbolt my Brooklands wheel and mount the Plus 8 wheel for autocrosses. I love the looks of my 17-inch Brooklands wheel 363 days a year, but for autocrossing the "ugly-but-functional" 1970s wheel is so much better.

I'm hoping the seats are comfortable. Spent a great deal of time getting the padding right but surely won't be recaro comfy
It's a rover 4 speed car
Ugly wheel is being retained for more aggressive drives
