Simple one, this..

Where does everyone keep their tax discs on a three wheeler? Despite the fact there's a lot of money in that little paper disc, I don't like to see the perishing things simply tacked on to any willing bolt and wondered if anyone's been really creative here.

Officially, it should be ahead of the driver or rider on the nearside of the machine, and visible, but..?

I've moved mine inside the cabin, I tried two different waterproof disc holders one didn't work and the vibration from the engine caused the others to rotate the disc and reduce it in size to a 50 pence piece.

In WA they have got rid of tax discs (or rather the stickers we used to have). Since its all electronic now it does beg the question why they are still needed....

There is a form of words defining the official position, and from memory, the important bit is visible from the pavement.

Many vintage Morgans just have it bolted to the top of the skirt panel roughly in line with windscreen or aeroscreens. Mine does.

A holder roughly like this:
Tax disc holder
Bolts are hidden on these.

I have relocated mine to the chassis bolt inside the cockpit under the dash in front of and facing the passenger seat.
It is visible from outside the car.

Not got a 3W, but I always 'laminate' my tax disc with clear adhesive film, (to prevent anyone nicking it to alter for their own vehicle) then stick it to the inside of the front screen with more of the same. I never found a reasonably priced holder that was really waterproof. Gerry.

Mine is as per Martyn above.
My understanding is since the Police stopped visually checking for tax disks in the UK ( all done from using the number plate now and checked back online to DVLC ) , so as long as you can present it on demand thers is no need for kerbside visibility.

Be very careful on that one nippy, about 10 years ago I got done by the DVLA not plod for failure to display a current tax disc. The vehicle was taxed at the time!
£350 if my memory serve me right.

My last rectifier-fitted disc holder disappeared onto the tarmac a couple of weeks ago and on BHM's advice today I screwed the replacement to the forward nearside allen key bolt holding the leather coaming cover. Seems the perfect site - the cockpit vibrates much less than the engine mounts so I expect this to survive. A bit longer, anyhoo. Just about legal too, at least more than the rectifier position.

You can take a colour photocopy and use that as long as you write 'copy' on it.
