PARDON? oldgit

Actually 6ft 1 ½ The car originally had the sports exhausts on it, changed back to original due to breakages, shortly to have the new improved sports exhausts re-fitted.

More machine guns, two 50 cals should do the job. Also missiles, nothing fancy just a good old heat seeking variety that can thread up a tailpipe. Finally space to launch the traffic drone for precise traffic updates. I do think Morgan should listen to their owners desires. I not asking to much?

1) Better / safer lighting both for front rear and with sides visibility ( I dont want to die for someone elses mistake, my own mistake is fine ).
2) Bonnet clips like Melvyn Rutter sells.
3) 'SPORT' button to change settings on the engine chip so you can have fast and ....... .
4) Published service procedures, so after warranty has expired you can keep it on the road yourself.

-better build quality/qc. tolerances are still garbage. all my body panels rub against each other in places they shouldn't which have rubbed off bits of paint. my body has eaten through the rubber bits around the roll bars due to dermot alignment and created nasty sounds right behind your head.

-complete rerouting of the wiring harness. if you take a look at a good portion of the wiring it sits sandwiched between the frame and the engine which in lots of cases has caused shorts/damaged wiring because it gets crimped or severed over time

-rerouting of throttle cable (which some have already done in the aftermarket (i know melvyn has done it and i've had it done through a local guy)) to get rid of the unsightly cable sticking up form the engine

-fix the gaps under the dash flanking the bit of upholstered leather above the transmission tunnel. next time take a look and stick your hand in there, you can grab a handful of wiring. very unfinished looking

-rear mudguard/fender

-did i mention fit/finish QC?

-floor mats that don't move around, especially the one by the pedals on the driver's side

-reengineer the bit of framing that is at your heel by the pedals. makes for awkward positioning of your feet

-trim down the tranny tunnel. another mod that people have done independently (getting mine done this winter). there's another inch or so of width that can be reclaimed for your legs (waldemar had this done as well)

-glove box mod

-redo engine mounts. for those of us who have had to witness the engine being pulled (mine has been pulled twice and i've seen kevin's pulled 3 times) it's absurdly complicated to pull out and even worse to put back in. part of the problem is that when the car is assembled it's easy to put the engine in without the body on but once the car is fully assembled and body is on it's a mess to remove and put back. i've talked with a couple buddies who work on race cars and they've all had some great suggestions for redoing the part behind the numberplate which would allow you to pull the engine directly out

-all the rough topped hex bolts in the interior where the leather seat pads sit against which after the first month of ownership will end up cutting in to the leather and pretty much destroying your seat cushions. if you don't believe me pull your seat cushions up and look at them, they look like hell

-on a similar note to the seat cushions, work on the rough edge of the body where the top of the seat back is pinned underneath/behind, it also cuts in to your leather. was super disappointed when i pulled my interior apart to do my dynamatting which revealed what poor shape everything was in

-find a way to change the rear tire without having to spend a couple hours pulling everything apart. it's really really really complex to get the thing off and requires a proper lift. not something that could ever be done when dealing with a flat on a trip

-louder! i agree with peter. car needs more nuts to it. when i got to hear the ace cycle car i realized how gutless the morgan sounded. not looking for an obnoxious harley sound but just something with some more meat to it.

-fix the pinging sound at high rpm

-faster. would love to have the 4.6 sec car that was advertised to us. our cars are quick but not fast. while i realize that too much power would be lethal in these things i do feel like it's being substantially held back

bitches aside it's a blast to drive but in the spirit of constant improvement it's important to be fully open and honest about the cars shortcomings or areas that could be made better.

oh, and the steering wheel. stock wheel is ghetto as hell. seriously embarrassing looking (hence i replaced mine) but i feel like from the factory it should have something that is at least passable visually. given that it has no horn or airbags i think there's no excuse to how low rent it looks
