You haven't driven Gurston Down yet have you?

I think you'll both really enjoy it - the chaps were telling us that it is the only course in the UK with a downhill section at the start.

The Hollow, as it is called, really sets you up for a blindingly fast start (the top speed is 144mph at that point!) and the problem is that after the next straight you're into the Carosel, which has an immediate tight right, which has a camber that wants to throw you into the forest!

The top speed on the final run up to the finish is 155mph

I'm just about to fill in the on-line application form for us both..

I've been looking at in-car footage on Youtube and also vids on the Gurston Down web site for learning the lines and speeds.

I think in our little 4/4 144-155 mph is a optimistic smile lol.
